The Snarkitect
“I’m not just driving for money,” Saylor explained during a ride to the airport. “I’m driving for freedom, decentralization, and financial sovereignty. Also, surge pricing helps.”
Passengers report Saylor uses the rides to educate them about Bitcoin. “I just wanted to get to my office,” said one passenger. “But by the time I arrived, I knew about the halving cycles, Lightning Network, and why fiat is doomed.”
Saylor’s car features a dashboard display tracking live Bitcoin prices, and his glove compartment is stocked with pamphlets titled ‘Why You Should Sell Your House for BTC.’ He has also implemented a Bitcoin-only tipping policy.
Despite his unconventional strategy, Saylor insists it’s worth it. “Every extra Satoshi counts,” he said while dropping off a couple at a steakhouse. “I’m just one Uber Pool away from hitting my next buy order.”
Uber has praised Saylor’s dedication, though some passengers find his enthusiasm overwhelming. “He wouldn’t stop calling my credit card ‘a centralized debt trap,’” complained another rider.
Saylor remains undeterred. “Driving Uber is temporary,” he said. “Bitcoin is forever.”
